Privacy
modernauditing.com is a public, static website. There are no accounts or logins, and this site does not ask you to submit personal information through a form. The maturity-model scoring on/maturity/ runs entirely in your browser; your answers are never transmitted or stored.
Hosting and security logs
Our hosting, load-balancing, and content-delivery providers automatically process request information needed to deliver and protect the site. Their logs may include an IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring page, browser or device information, response status, and cache or security details. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site and to review aggregate traffic. It is not used for personalized advertising and is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose Allow analytics in this site's privacy controls, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a service provided by Google, to understand how people find and use the site and to improve its content. Where no analytics choice is shown, GA4 is not enabled.
GA4 may collect pages viewed; links followed; referring sites or campaign information; visit dates and times; approximate location; and technical details about your browser, device, operating system, language, and screen. It uses pseudonymous client and session identifiers. Your browser also sends technical connection data, including an IP address, to Google. We do not send Google names, email addresses, account information, or free-text content from this site. We configure GA4 without Google Signals or personalized-advertising features.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics remains off unless you allow it. If you do, GA4 may set first-party cookies, including _ga and_ga_<measurement-id>, to distinguish browser visits and sessions. Under our configuration, those cookies expire after no more than 13 months. We remember your analytics choice for up to 12 months in strictly necessary first-party storage that is not used to track you. You can decline analytics and still use the entire site. When analytics controls are available, you can use the Manage analyticscontrol to change or withdraw your choice; withdrawing stops future analytics collection and removes this site's accessible GA4 cookies.
Analytics processing and retention
Analytics information is sent to and processed by Google and may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. We configure detailed user-level and event-level GA4 retention for no more than 14 months; standard aggregated reports may remain available longer. Learn more in Google's explanation of information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
